Join Deep Desert Expeditions for our half-day or full-day Rock Art Tours.
All of our tours are custom built to fit your desires and your abilities
From roadside panels of petroglyphs (etched or scratched images), to strenuous hikes to spectacular pictograph panels (painted images), we can show you many examples of the images left behind on the rocks by several different indigenous cultures, from the ancient Ancestral Puebloan (Anasazi), Fremont, and Barrier Canyon cultures as well as more modern images from Navajo and Ute people.
We focus on the ethics of visiting these sites, as well as discussing what is currently known about the images and the people who put them on the rock.
